2. Main purpose and Responsibilities of the Position
|
Job Summary:
|
As the Senior Developer Advocate, you will be responsible for fostering the adoption of erxes in the Open Source & MarTech space.
|
|
Key areas of accountability:
|
- Ensure that our developer community is taken good care of
- Develop a partnership strategy that’s hinged on win-win value for both developer/partner agencies and erxes
- Train the open-source software users and developer partner agencies and partners on the erxes platform
- Monitor and respond to community questions in a nice, helpful and swift way and update FAQs, threads, documentation, tutorials, etc. accordingly
- Analyze products’ operation data, evaluate products with the operations team and provide a proper offer to developers
- Drive technical content strategy, responsible for technical documentation and educational content targeted at open-source software users and developer partner agencies
- Document and analyze the community feedback in a structured way and suggest measures to best serve our community
- Go to meetups, community events, etc. as applicable, present erxes there
- Advocate for developers internally and other cross-functional teams

- Familiarity with developer tools, Git, Continuous Integration, and Cloud-Native technologies in general
- Proficiency with tools for community management (e.g. Discord, Gitter, Twitter, Github)
- Facilitating complex and sensitive community management situations with humility, judgment, tact, and humor
- A history of collaboration with a diverse, international community of developers
- Being active in other communities and platforms to help foster collaboration and relationships with other communities and organizations
